X (Mia Michel | Miss Sxvage) is a vibrant, 🇿🇦 South African storyteller who offers portals into different worlds. 🌎 She founded SXVAGES, a raw and real multimedia production company and community that promotes expression and healing through music, writing, and film. 🎧 | 📘 | 🎞 She comes from a diverse, culturally mixed background and loves connecting with beings from all over the world. Despite having a mostly troubled upbringing that’s lent its hand to toppling traumatic events, she always rises, continuously determined to inspire others to Live Their Legacy, Lead With Love, and Liberate Lives.

Not quite rooted in one genre, Miss Sxvage likens her sound to sxvage-soul; an infusion of hip-hop, R&B, neo-soul, alternative, trap, experimental pop, African and World sounds, and trickles of other genres. Without being bound to one genre or medium of writing, Mia Michel mostly explores stories that range on the spectrum of magic realism to overt fantasy. Whether leaning more into a blend of mystery, adventure, romance, or coming-of-age, all her stories tie into the root of emotion. While some of these stories may have provocative themes and touch on sensitive grounds, they exist not to incite, but to inspire. X’s artistic path would not be complete without the creation of videos, both narrative and interpretive. Like all of her mediums, it is not defined by its genre but by its thematic story. Her affinity for magic realism and fantasy tied in with reality is often inserted subtly or bluntly in whatever she works on. She also enjoys exploring the bizarre, the sensual, the non-linear, and that which is experimental. SXVAGES, at the core, is about helping others heal. And while different mediums of art assist in that, nothing can replace the true act of connecting and building a strong and loving community. Her biggest calling has always been to help others free themselves from chains (whether physical, mental, or spiritual) and encourage the freed (sxvages) to help others to do the same. Her aim is connected with that of the SXVAGES slogan: Live Your Legacy, Lead With Love, And Liberate Lives.
This Is The Protector
“We might be mortals, but our legacy will never die.”
The Protector is a continuously reborn spirit that enters the world to guide others to khīama (khī (freedom) and ama (love.)) This Spirit is usually driven by the desire to help others free themselves from chains and encourage them to help others do the same.
The Protector carries the great gift of discernment and is both a warrior and healer for all beings. This embodiment usually appears before or during times of looming darkness to bring about a balance with light. Yet The Protector usually achieves this with the unity of others.
Although X is the visual model of The Protector, The Protector has existed in many forms of all kinds. Yet the purpose has always been the same.
To live its legacy, lead with love, and liberate lives.

Many refer to The Protector as sxvage (free-spirit) and identify themselves as sxvage too. This connects to a larger community of love, truth, and freedom which unites beings from all parts of the world to come together in peace.
Crossing both arms to form an X in front of the chest is a common gesture The Protector shares with others which symbolizes greetings, respect, and appreciation for others.
